Curry leaves are one of the most important elements that most of the Indian houses use in their culinary items. Not only in terms of health, but this wonder leaves can do magic to your hair as well. Packed with carbohydrates, fiber, calcium, phosphorous, irons and vitamins like vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin E, curry leaves help your heart function better, fights infections and can also help in reduction of premature greying of hair.

1. Skin infections: Skin infections are a big hurdle in monsoon. Rich in antioxidants, curry leaves can be used as a home remedy to treat common fungal infections of the nail or any body part that are often difficult to treat. Make a paste with lukewarm water and curry leaves and apply on the affected area.
2. Dandruff: Heat two tablespoon of coconut oil (the quantity can vary depending on the length of your hair) with 5 curry leaves. Once the mixture cools, apply it to the roots of your hair and leave it overnight. Wash it off with a mild shampoo and say bye bye to dandruff.
3. Flawless Skin: Add a pinch of turmeric to your curry leaves paste and apply the pack to your face. The face pack will reduce dark spots and acne.
4. Wrinkles: Drink a glass of water with curry leaves soaked in it in the morning. The antioxidant properties in the leaves reduces fine lines and wrinkles and helps in premature ageing of the skin.
